- Video Biographies

The following clips are excerpts from several video biographies we have produced. While our more complex projects include video interviews, old family photos and documents, wonderful stories can be told using family photos edited to music. And if an interviews-only video is what you prefer, we can do that, too!

Kate Adler - A Life Story
(Running time 3:22 min.)
Dr. Les Adler wanted a video documenting his parents' life stories in celebration of his mother's 90th birthday. Though his father had passed on and his mother was too frail for interviews, Dr. Adler had audio and video interviews he had conducted of his parents in the early 80s. Using these tapes and over 200 old family photos, we created a wonderful video and presented it at Kate Adler's birthday celebration. There wasn't a dry eye in the house! The first clip we've included is the opening photo sequence set to music; the second clip includes photos and audio interviews of Dr. Adler's father.
A Conversation with Robert Bratter
(Running time: 1:29 min.)
Robert Bratters' daughters, Lisa and Darcy, asked us to produce a video biography of their father. We interviewed Mr. Bratter at his home for two hours and shot additional footage of Robert and Patsy Bratter's recently completed Sedona dream-home. The final video, an hour and forty-five minutes in length, includes the interviews, video footage of the Bratters' home, and 180 old family photos. In this clip Mr. Bratter shares his thoughts and hopes for his children and grandchildren.
Estelle - A Personal History
(Running time: 3:15 min.)
Fashion designer Estelle Gracer asked us to produce a combination life-story and business history documenting her transformation from stay-at-home mother and housewife to founder and co-owner of Estelle, a multi-million-dollar designer crochet-sweater business. We spent four hours interviewing Estelle and an additional two hours filming the wonderful artwork in her house. This clip is the opening sequence of Estelle's personal history.
Estelle - Business Life
(Running time: 4:45 min.)
This edited synopsis documents the joys and challenges of Estelle's business life, the responsibilities she felt toward her customers and her employees, and what her life is like today. In addition to Estelle's interviews for this portion of the video, we spent three hours filming interior shots of the building where Estelle is located today, along with interviews of employees who worked for Estelle from the beginning.
A Conversation with Marietta and Wong
(Running time: 2:18 min.)
Shortly before their 50th wedding anniversary, Mr. and Mrs. Wong's daughter Stacie asked us to make a video documenting her parents' life-stories. Stacie and her siblings wanted to present the video at their parents' anniversary party. Because it was an anniversary video, we chose to interview Mr. and Mrs. Wong together. Reluctant at first, the Wongs were thrilled and proud when their video was shown at their anniversary celebration. Over 60 photos were edited into the forty-five minute interview. This clip includes the opening sequence and a discussion of how they met and married.
